‘Maggie’ is a family drama about a woman named Linda, who has recently become the stepmother of an overly imaginative little girl named Maggie. Linda’s goal is to be accepted as Maggie’s mother, despite Maggie’s tendency to rebel and embarrass her by carrying around a strange homemade doll.

About the Director

Lindsay grew up in Santa Cruz, California. She attended Brigham Young University, graduating from the Theatre and Media Arts program. ‘Maggie’ was her capstone project that she based off her own life experiences. She currently works as a producer for a small production company in Utah.

About the Director

Kimmy is a director, writer, & comedian best known as 1/3 of the acclaimed musical comedy trio The Apple Sisters. She produced and directed the feature documentary, Nerdcore Rising, which premiered at the South By Southwest Film Festival. She has since made a splash in the digital world having directed and produced for Dreamworks, Nerdist, Youtube’s Comedy Week, Jash/Video Podcast Network, Maker Studios. AwesomenessTV, Yahoo!, Vevo, Awestruck, and hulu. She most recently directed a live-action comedy series “Hyperlinked” for Youtube Red/Disney that explores the world of girls and coding. She also directed Rachel Bloom (Golden Globe Award winning “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend”) in a video for Vanity Fair’s first Founders Fair entitled “LadyBoss.” Other directing projects include “Not Safe with Nikki Glaser” on Comedy Central, the Comedy Central digital series “Junketeers,” “Trump vs. Bernie” for Fusion & her series “Milk Factory” for Awestruck, As an actress Kimmy has been seen on Conan, “The B in Apartment 23,” ”Comedy Bang! Bang!,” “The Smosh Movie,” “Jersey Boys,” “Bad Judge,” “Epic Rap Battles of History” and the upcoming series on Netflix, “GLOW” executive produced by Jenji Kohan. When she isn’t acting, directing, or producing, Gatewood has a love for music, she sings and plays the guitar & trombone to her 2 year old daughter. @kimmygatewood

After a traumatic event, Rose (25), an enigmatic young woman, decides to flee her hometown and to start over in a new city. She is convinced that this is the only way to escape her traumatic past. In London, she tries to rebuild her life while denying her own unhappiness. However, an encounter with her mysterious neighbor, Ryan (26) will turn her world upside down.

Rose is coming back from work when she runs into Ryan. He invites her to spend the evening together. There is something familiar about him. After some hesitation she accepts, not knowing what this night will do to her.

Despite his many attempts to get to know her, Rose appears very secretive when it comes to herself. Without giving up, Ryan takes her to a secret place.

Ryan gets more and more intrusive. Rose starts to get scared when Ryan succeeds to read her mind. His questions make her doubt her own decisions. He tries to make her realize how unhappy she is with her life and how important it is for her to go back home. This is the only way she can face her demons once and for all.

Will it be enough to make her reconsider her choices? And why Ryan, a perfect stranger, is trying so hard to save her?

About the Director

Jeanne is a French filmmaker. Since a young age she is fascinated by the cinema and passionate about the film industry. By practicing theatre for several years and getting a lot of directions when it came to acting, she developed a natural sense of how to work with actors.

After she was accepted by the University of Westminster in 2014, she moved to London and attended the Film and Television Production course. During the course she directed a second end of year short film, which confirmed her desire of becoming a director. She also showed great interest in screenwriting during her studies and explored this field further in depth with different courses. In 2017, she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts.

Meanwhile she completed two internships in French award-wining production companies: Sombrero Films and Delante Productions. These companies enhanced her knowledge of the film industry and she gained a better comprehension of the making of a film.

Furthermore, she created her own projects outside of university and participated in film festivals such as the 99 Fire Films Award Competition. This competition requires a creation of a 99 second film, written, directed and produced in 99 hours. Experiences such as the 99 Fire Films Award taught her rigorousness with in her work and how to work under stress.

In her films Jeanne wants to convey strong emotions by depicting « the humans » and the world they are surrounded by.

Stationary is a project she holds close to her heart. The story resumes around human psychology and emotions, which she cares about deeply.

About the Director

 Born in the city of the eternal Colombian spring (Medellin, Antioquia) in 1984, Manuela Vasquez is a professional Race Driver who today dedicates to tell stories about her greatest passion: cars.
Manuela graduated from the Design of Sceney Spaces career, when not long after she devoted herself full-time to explore external spaces: the Italian, Spanish, Austrian, among other European racing tracks.
She managed to be the only Latina and Woman of her category in the Clio Cup Italia championship.
Her interest in audiovisual media was manifested when she was invited to host the TV show “Motor Sport Colombia”, which broadcasted in more than 40 countries.
Her vibrant personality as a leader and charismatic persona, caught the attention of many, including the producers of the renowned Colombian reality show “El Desafío”, achieving to win the great survival challenge finale.
In 2016, decided to move to the city of Los Angeles and learn from the best in the craft of telling stories.
Now she is a Racedriver / Filmmaker focused on story-telling.

About the Director

 Emily Scott is an actress, writer, director, and filmmaker currently in the San Francisco Bay Area. She has written several short films, one of which she co-directed as a student, but After is her post-college directorial debut. She is currently in pre-production for her latest project, REPRESENT: A Webseries.
